Terms & Conditions
1. Confirmation of the booking
- Your booking is only fully confirmed upon receipt of your deposit, and you have received an email confirmation of the booking from us. Deposits must be paid within 48 hours of receiving your email invoice. Please retain this email for reference.
- Upon receipt of the deposit, you will receive an email confirming your payment and the party booking details.
- Our T&Cs must be agreed and accepted for all bookings whether taken by phone or using our online booking system.
2. Cancellation policy
- We understand that unforseen circumstances may interrupt plans and require cancellations, therefore we will endeavour to do our best to reschedule your party within a 12-month period from your initial party date (subject to entertainer availability). Please note that your deposit will be held for this period.
- If you wish to cancel your party entirely, please be aware that the deposit is non-refundable. If your cancellation occurs within 8 days of the party date, the full amount is payable.
3. Entertainers
- Upon receipt of your deposit, our team will send an email outlining the amount paid, remaining balance and due date, party details including time, date, location and your chosen character. In the rare situation where your chosen character may become unavailable, we will do our best to provide an alternative agreed upon with you.
- Our entertainers & team will not, under any circumstances, tolerate verbal abuse, physical abuse or perceived threatening behaviour. Should they believe themselves to be on the receiving end of any unacceptable behaviour, we reserve the right to terminate the party immediately. We consider our team's safety and comfort to be paramount.
- We reserve the right to change the entertainer allocated to your party. Whilst we are not obliged to notify you of the change, we can assure you that all our entertainers have been trained to the "Enchanting Entertainment" standards and will contact you the week of your party.
- In the case of party delays or cancellations related to Force Majeure (i.e. extreme weather, emergencies, war, etc.), there will be no liability on Enchanting Entertainment. The charge will be commensurate strictly with the duration of the entertainer's presence at your party.
4. Payments
- After receipt of the deposit and your party has been confirmed via email, deposits are non-refundable.
- The remaining balance must be paid at least 7 working days prior to your event and our entertainers will not accept cash payments on the day of the party.
- If we do not receive payment in full at least 7 working days prior to your event, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and your deposit would not be refundable.
- For events outside of our coverage area, we may add travel charges to your booking. Should you change the location of your event where a travel charge was not initially applicable to a location that falls outside our coverage area, we will add travel charges to your booking.
- For joint parties/events with more than one child as the focus, a supplementary charge of £30 will be added.
5. Party information
- You must disclose the number of children attending your party. If it becomes apparent that significantly more children attend, you will be charged an additional cost.
- If you wish to change your party package after paying the deposit and confirming the details, your deposit will be increased to match the new package. If you opt for a lower package, the deposit will remain the same and will be deducted from the final amount payable.
- Should your party exceed the package duration or you request your entertainer to stay for additional time, you must pay the supplement fee on the day of the party.
6. Enchanting Entertainment
- Enchanting Entertainment is not liable for any associated costs with your party outside of the entertainer fee and reserves the right to make modifications to elements including (but not limited to) props, equipment, structure, activities and prizes.
- By making a booking with Enchanting Entertainment, you acknowledge that all of our characters are creative interpretations and have no association with any named brands or copyright-protected franchises. We use costumes, jewellery, wigs and props derived from our imagination and we DO NOT claim to be associated with any copyrighted or name-brand character
- Our entertainers are compensated on time spent at your event, not on activities, costumes, props or equipment provided.
- By making a booking with Enchanting Entertainment, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions set out above.
